Meet Jennifer Carlson!

Jennifer, her husband Andrew, and their two children live in Charlotte, NC. After relocating from the Washington, DC area, she and Andrew discovered they were now within driving distance to Mickey and friends! They’ve since taken many vacations to Walt Disney World, staying in numerous properties varying in value. They’re staunch believers that the dollar amount doesn’t equal the experience!

Some of Jennifer’s earliest Disney World memories are riding Thunder Mountain for the first time, watching her older sister dance on stage at the Spirit of Aloha dinner show, renting boats and zooming all over Bay Lake, and the opportunity to explore Disneyland before her brother shipped off to Iraq with the US Marines.

In addition to being a mom, Jennifer has an eclectic background working with the Department of Foreign Affairs at the Embassy of Ireland. She even found herself in Cape Town, South Africa for a period while studying for her Masters!  All of this lends itself to the thrill of planning and finding the joy in new experiences – something she loves to see through the eyes of new clients. Becoming a Disney travel planner is a wonderful way to call upon the spontaneity of hosting foreign ambassadors and diplomats (as well as a couple of US Presidents!) by creating magical experiences for countless families and friends. She couldn’t be more excited to join Destination Wonderland Travel and all the wonderful travel planning Mamas!
