Meet Patrick Durbin!

Patrick has had a strong connection to Disney from a very young age. His first trip was when he was 1 year old and the family would save and plan every few years for their next magical vacation. He can still remember driving through the orange groves with the whole family playing a game to see who could spot the top spire of Cinderella’s castle first.

His family’s fascination with Disney didn’t end with vacations as each member eventually lived out their own dream to one day work with Mickey and his pals. His brother piloted the Nautilus 20,000 leagues below the sea and his sister worked in Convention Services. Her time at Disney introduced Patrick to his future wife Colleen who still works as a Convention Services Manager more than 20 years later. They got engaged in front of the Tree of Life in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. His mom skippered many a fearless traveler on a Jungle Cruise while Dad proudly engineered Walt’s favorite trains around the Magic Kingdom. And Patrick, after a brief summer helping campers at Disney’s Fort Wilderness, went on to lead many expeditions through the savannah for Kilimanjaro Safaris. His daughter, Isabella, hopes to one day find her own role and continue the family tradition.

Having shared so many magical moments and family trips to Walt Disney World and on Disney Cruises, Patrick decided to share a little pixie dust and joined the Destination Wonderland Travel team. He hopes that he can help other families and Disney fans to make their own wishes of a perfect vacation come true.

Taking the family vacation to the water has become their new tradition. They have set sail on several Disney ships as well as other cruise lines. He and his family have sailings on Disney’s Wish and Fantasy on the horizon traveling to exciting destinations including Castaway Cay and Lighthouse Point. Patrick loves to plan their family’s cruise vacations down to the smallest detail and would welcome the chance to help others plot a course for their own voyage on the high seas.

As a graduate of the College of Disney Knowledge and a resident of Central Florida, Patrick offers a unique perspective and insight into the happiest place on earth. He learned early on about the Disney difference and having a strong commitment to customer service. He hopes to share all he’s learned and experienced with others to help them dream up, plan, and live their own unforgettable journeys.

Patrick believes every day can be a new adventure… you just have to choose the destination and plot a course. He is committed to helping others achieve this goal. He believes businesses have clients, Disney has guests, and Destination Wonderland Travel has lifelong friends. His mission is to help each person or family to make their own magical memories by designing a partnership, creating a perfect vacation experience, and building a friendship that can make dreams come true.
